Prof. Zhang Weinian was invited to deliver an academic lecture at the "Advanced Advances in Dynamical Systems Conference and Training Course"

On the afternoon of May 13, Professor Zhang Weinian of Sichuan University was invited to give an academic lecture on "The Same Residence Ring and the Same Residence Ring" in the "Academic Conference and Training Class on the Advance of Dynamical Systems". Zhang Weinian used humorous and funny stories to tell the research of the same ring to the same ring from the simple to the deep, and introduced his own research methods in plain language. In this paper, the bifurcation of degenerate homoclinic rings in N-dimensional space is introduced, and it is proved that homoclinic rings, an invariant manifold filled with homoclinic orbits, can be generated from them. The size of the homoclinic rings is determined not only by the dimension of the manifold but also by the width of the manifold. He pointed out that the study of the span of the homogeneity problem has great influence on the bifurcation theory of dynamical systems, and the study of it should be done thoroughly and seriously.

Professor Zhang Weinian: Dean, Professor, doctoral supervisor of School of Mathematics, Sichuan University, Academic leader of National 985 Innovation Platform, winner of National Outstanding Youth Fund, engaged in theoretical research and application of differential equations and dynamical systems for a long time. So far, he has published more than 200 academic papers and won the Leonhard Euler Prize of Germany in 2014. Since 1997, he has been a professor, doctoral supervisor and second-class professor successively in Sichuan University. He was awarded the China Youth Science and Technology Award in 1994, the fourth "Young University Teacher Award" in 2002, the National Outstanding Youth Fund in 2008, the second prize of National Teaching Achievement in 2009, and the first prize of Natural Science by the Ministry of Education in 18 years.
