On January 12, 2022 (Wednesday), Wu Zezhong, Vice President for Teaching and Learning, hosted the fourth meeting of "Professional Evaluation and 2022 Edition Talent Training Program" in Conference Room 618.
The moderator of the meeting, Vice President Wu Zezhong, firstly introduced the guidance and work plan of undergraduate talent training program issued by Chengdu University of Information Engineering, as well as the theme and requirements of this meeting.
Professor Hu Jiancheng, head of the Department of Information and Computing Science, introduced the 2018 version of the Talent Training Program of the Department of Information and Computing Science, as well as the research situation based on the socio-economic development and technical development needs of the industry, the follow-up survey of graduates about 5 years after graduation, and the questionnaire survey of employers, and summarized the results of the rational evaluation of the training objectives of the 2018 version of the Talent Training Program of the Department of Information and Computing Science by the above three ways.
Experts and teachers of this major have fully discussed and summarized the training objectives according to the "2018 version of the training program for information and computing science majors". The professional objectives in the 2018 version of the training program are in line with the actual school and social needs, the professional orientation reflects the professional characteristics, and the curriculum meets the national standards of teaching quality of undergraduate professional classes in general higher education institutions. Revision opinions and suggestions were put forward on the training objectives of the 2022 edition of the Talent Training Program of Information and Computing Science.
